So cold! Jeeeez, that chilly air has swept through my house and killed off all desire to do anything bar snuggle up with the Funk Master. He’s in bed. He has the right idea.
I would give a lot to be in bed right now. Snuggled under my duvet, fluffy socks on, warm cup of tea at my side-
I work from home. The sprogs are in bed.
I damn well can do that!
*shuffles and relocates to bed*
Sorry if you aren’t so lucky as to be able to work from bed, but on a night like this it’s the only way I’m going to get anything done.
So. How did I do with last week’s goals?
~Finishing marketing and promotion jobs for Breathless Press
Got it. ^_^ Pleased with the results too. My bio has been given high praise (d’aww shucks) and I finally got the blurb the way I wanted it. Next stop? …wait and see what they give me next!
~Make editing tweaks on Simone & Mr Bradford
Yes. Finally! Haha! Though I’ll be honest with you guys, I’ve run out of money now. Like totally. So no more paying for editing. I need to use other routes to polish up the last two stories. Ileandra totally cleaned us out with her work on SORB.
~Keep up with NaNoWriMo
I know myself too damn well. Yes, not only have I done everything else but I’ve done this to. I’m on par and I’ve met my personal word count goal for Second Base which was 35k. The story is a hella lot longer than that, so hitting the 50k by Sunday shouldn’t be an issue. How about that? Maybe I am super-woman after all. :p
All about tying off loose ends. December is likely to be a gentle sort of month, focused mainly on submissions and editing, so I just want to make sure I’ve got these last few bits out of the way.
- Finish NaNoWriMo
- Contact Angie re Simone & Mr Bradford cover so she can make a start
There. Half of my week will tip into December so I think I’ll use the few days grace I have to relax and chill. Then, following my roundup, I’ll see what has to come next.
See you next week! x
