I’ve been to the cinema twice this week. TWICE!!! Mission Impossible and Ant Man, both of which were very watchable indeed. ^_^ Basically, I feel like I’ve had a pretty good week, even without thinking of work.
Actions Last Week
~Decide how many changes need to be made to ‘Second Base’ and if the beta suggestions are better suited in this release than in ‘Slippers & Chains Three’
Kinda. As in, I know now that I want to keep the plotting as I originally planned and that the majority of the loose ends relating to family will be handled in the third book. The loose ends relating directly to Karen and Dan will be cleared up in ‘Second Base’ and that’s what I’ve been doing this week. Not done, but getting there.
~Put together background data for KDP and Createspace and assign ISBNs accordingly.
Done. But this is early stages so all the entries look a little sparse right now. :p Ho hum. Thought it does make me wonder if I need to stagger the releases for ease’s sake. Y’know . . . eBook first, followed by paperback release a little later. It is actually more expensive that way, but if I’m smart, it should be manageable. We’ll see.
Activities For This Week
- Complete ‘Read Aloud’ of ‘Second Base’ with all resultant changes
- Format Createspace versions of ‘Second Base’ to get page numbers
- Commission ‘Second Base’ cover art with Ravenink on Fiverr
Thoughts…
I’m feeling more relaxed now that I know what I want to do about last week’s issue. In fact, I’m relaxed all over. So much so that I may watch a movie tonight, depending on how the work goes.
I figure all these things need to happen one after the other and that it should be simple enough to whirl through them. They are mostly very simple jobs.
Working out what we need to do is a big help towards getting it done.

I’ll say! Since working on these goal lists every week not only has it been easier to get stuff done, but a lot more relaxed too. More is happening as a result. ^_^
