Yes, I know, it’s another break from my why I write erotica series, but I just had to do this first. There are some things I need to say to you all.
First, my competition didn’t get nearly enough uptake to make it as fair as I’d like. I’m sorry about that. If you entered by following all the criteria I apologise to you the most. I’ll find another way to make it up to you and give you the chance to win some goodies at a later date.
Second, ‘Eric & Morgan’ releases tomorrow. It’s been on pre-order for a couple of weeks and now it’s ready for general sale. It’s the fourth tale in my Meeting Each Other Series and I’m so excited I could almost choke. Never in a million years did I imagine I would get this far.
I’m so happy that I’m putting together a little ‘celebrate with me’ present that will be issued to all newsletter subscribers early tomorrow morning (8am GMT). If you want to be in on that, you’ve got some time to sign up to the newsletter to make sure you have access. Otherwise you can find the story on Amazon and Smashwords.
The next is a present for all of you general blog folk. Just something small as a kind of ‘thank you’ for supporting me through all of it.
I love quote art. Picking out a single line that speaks to me in a way that captures the essence or a particular theme of the story. This in particular, so simple, just makes me shiver with happy. ^_^
Lastly, since I’m nearing the end of the series, it’s time to think about print versions and bonus material. Either this Saturday or next week I’ll be asking you what sort of bonus material you would like to see in compilation ebooks and print collections (since that’s kinda what it’s going to be in loose terms). I’ll make it simple, a few questions on a survey, that sort of thing and keep it live for a month or two.
There. That’s my lot. Thanks for bearing with me. x
One week into October and it’s going to be a little bit crazy. I can feel it in my bones. Da Shared Brain is talking about talking on a bunch of extra work in the form of kickstarting her radio show and while that would be great for Ileandra and I, I worry for her sanity. Anyway…
Last Week
~Choose October’s book to read and review. Start reading.
Yup. Tis a good’un. You’ll see I’ve already sorted out the books for the rest of the year too, so if you’re curious check out the Book Challenge page.
~Prepare to complete at least 10 pages of edits for Slippers & Chains IF email arrives by Sunday. Complete 5 pages if email arrives after that.
The piece arrived on Tuesday but I have managed to work through 25 pages. I think I overestimated the level of changes required at this point, so I can relax a little in that regard. I should be able to meet the deadline of next week to complete this second round of edits.
~Read current outline for Slippers & Chains: Second Base and make notes
Yep. I’ve changed where I had the story starting originally and smoothed out some of the potential plot bumps. Frankly put I’m ready to begin writing now.
This Week
- Complete deep edits at least 1,500 words of ‘Simone & Mr Bradford’
- Complete checks on second pass of edits issued by Breathless Press for Slippers & Chains
Aaaaaaaaand that’s my lot! Thanks guys. Muchos love-os! 😉
