Bonus Blog: Catching Up

Now there’s a post title I’ll probably use over and over again in the next few weeks!

I’m sure you all recall that having recently come into the family way (hehee) I’ve been making use of the timed post feature the WordPress offers. This means that most of these posts were written before I ended up in the hospital, with the occasional bonus blog (like this one) written as and when.
Well the knock on effect of that is that with limited time to knock up new stuff there are certain bits and pieces that have been missed.

Reader Appreciation AwardOne if those things is thanking Vanessa Grassi for kindly nominating me for the Reader Apreciation Award.
I’m always touched and pleased when sometime thinks of me in such a way and this is no exception. A gift most unexpected but very much appreciated.

Versatile BloggerThen while watching Eurovision (I know, I know, don’t hate me) I got a twitter message from Roberta Gordon over at Gemini Witching advising she’s nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award.
To say I’m thrilled is a wild understatement; finding myself in a position where I need to play catch up with not one but two awards!

Well I’m still not quite in a position to write up these awards properly, but I will say thank you both (very, very much!) for your nominations and I’ll get to work on my bit as soon as things are less crazy here.

About Ileandra Young

I'm a thirty-*mumbles* year old (purple loving, cheese worshipping) author of fantasy, juggling a pair of beautiful twin boys with my burning desire to make up stories and write them all down. When I get the chance, I play games, listen to music, and in days long past I even ran a radio show. Though I occasionally write non-fiction, my heart lives in fantasy and my debut novel, Silk Over Razor Blades is now available through Amazon along with part two of the trilogy, Walking The Razor's Edge.
