One week in. My body aches. My brain aches. Everything aches. But it’s a good kind of ache. The sort of ache that says ‘I’ve done stuff.’ ^_^ That doesn’t really explain my knees though . . .
Actions Last Week
~Edit the next five chapters of ‘Walking The Razor’s Edge’ following the primary timeline
Five down! I knew it would be faster once the new bits linked up with the old. In fact I think I’m just on the verge of finishing a sixth (chapter fourteen after all my fiddling and swapping around). This is good. I’m in a good place. Let’s keep it moving now!
~Make seven review requests (in person/via email/via blogs/via strangers – let’s be creative about this!)
Five. Better than my usual, but not good enough. Gotta keep pushing. This is one of the many places I really can’t afford to slack.
~List which pages on the blog need to be updated
Yes. Quite a few. I’ve actually made updates to four of the six I outlined, but the last two are going to need a complete overhaul. Additionally, I’ve discovered the need for a whole new page! I have my work cut out.
~Email Dave to begin ‘Walking The Razor’s Edge’ cover art discussions
Done. I’ve sent a brain-vomit style email with the sorts of things I think he needs to know. All that remains now is to wait for a response so we can get started on the collaborative goodness. ^_^
Activities For This Week
- Edit the next five chapters of ‘Walking The Razor’s Edge’ following the primary timeline
- Make seven review requests (in person/via email/via blogs/via strangers – come oooon, keep pushing!)
- Update two blog pages and create a third
I think this week is relatively normal. No odd trips to the hospital or days out. Which means I should have those two days in the middle to just put my head down and do things.
So far I’ve found since my break that the evenings are not as productive as they used to be. I dither for ages before I start and then stop before my scheduled two hours. I just run out of steam. Not sure how to deal with that yet.
