Ugh. Sorry it’s late. Ileandra has been editing like a lunatic and, funnily enough, that influences what I do here. Go figure. 😉
I’m tired and hungry and slightly moody, so I’ll keep this one brief.
~Learn how to put make up on!
No. Just no. I need to do it, but I’ve been putting it off because I dislike make up just on principle. I’m told (by reliable folks) that professional author shots should be done with a lil bit of make up if you’re a girl (grr) but since the shoot has been put off, I can put off this step. Maybe I’ll rebel and not do it at all. Who knows.
~Start reading Literal Fantasies
Finished it too. Review will be up on Saturday 8th, so keep your eyes peeled for that if you’re curious about what I think.
~Finish last story in Meeting Each Other series
Well that was a bit of a cock up. I’ve already done that! Ah well. Stupid brain. -_-
~Prepare last niggling bits for launch of ‘Carol, Niall & Lin’ (I have a present for you in that regard. Be sure to stop by on Saturday evening!)
Done. We’re ready! The piece should be available on Smashwords, Amazon (UK, US and CA) and Kobo tomorrow. If you haven’t picked up your ‘thank you’ copy from Smashwords, do that before the voucher code runs out. Seriously… hurry up; you’ve probably got about 36 hours until it goes poof. *sprinkles faerie dust*
~Draft outline of next in Slippers & Chains series (Second Base)
Nope. I blame Ileandra for monopolising our shared brain. It’s all been about that bloody vampire novel she’s working on. As if my work isn’t important too! Though I am published now… I guess that puts me ahead of the game somewhat. Still… hoping to do better this week.
Right. Let’s get back on track!
Complete deep edits on ‘Bill’ and get it ready to send out to betas.
Choose February’s indie book to review (and start reading)
Draft outline of next in Slippers & Chains series (Second Base)
There we go. Also… voting is still open on how I’ll publish Slippers & Chains in the first instance. Do you want downloadable audio files or videos like the ones here? Vote now!
You’ve got another three weeks before I close that poll and get on with producing whatever it is you’ve picked.
Cheers! Have a good week, see you in February.
