~Featuring Lenny the Lemur, here are the first six sentences…
Lenny the Lemur lived in the bottom of a tree. It was taller than anything he had ever known with big branches that stretched in all directions. In Spring, the leaves would unfold in shades of green and he loved to sit in the cool shadows to escape the sunlight. In Winter, when the leaves had turned brown and red and gold and fallen, Lenny the Lemur would look at his tree and feel sad. He preferred the Spring and the bright colours of the season when it was warm and all his other friends would come out to play. Nobody played in the Winter.
Wah… see what having kids does to you?
Anyways, the banner below will, as it always does, take you to the main Six Sunday website. There, please, please check out what the other authors are up to; its always worth a read.
Hey, Jo Nesbo does dark Scandinavian mystery and kids books. No reason you can’t add something for the little ones! 🙂
