I realise there hasn’t been much fanfare about this release. Not good, as I really should have been pushing to get some attention on this book. Alas, writing more stuff has slipped into the place of marketing and means that I’ve done very little to let people know this is coming.

But I’ll tell you guys, because it’s here and I’m proud of it!

I’m exhausted. My legs ache. My head is spinning with all the work I have yet to do and all I can think about is chocolate. The Sprogs have only just gone to bed and I can still hear them squealing as they dance about their bedroom pointedly not sleeping.

I’m not even going to pretend to work tonight.

Jessie Jones is starting on Netflix and I intend to watch as many episodes as possible before my eyes refuse to stay open. Then I’m crawling into bed.

You guys know me, right? You know I can’t resist a new project if the time is there, yeah?

Soooooo . . . I’ve decided, yes, I’ll keep going throughout November and I’ll look into ‘Dead And Alive, Season Two.’

It’s going to take me a bit of time to get back into these characters and remember where I left them at the end of Season One, but, since I’m not racing the clock that’s fine.

I’m pleased to hit the minimum words for the day though. Even if I’m not aiming for 50k any more, I like to have green squares on the graph. *ahem* CDO *ahem-ahem*

I guess these pictures are now far more a representation of how many words I’ve written this month, rather than the novel. *shrugs* Fine by me!

Oookay, so that was a bit easier than I thought. I’m done! ^_^

There is a temptation to keep going, but I think I’d just be adding fluff: the tale has been told, lessons have been learned, the bad guy is vanquished and the good guys are together . . . really isn’t any more to add, is there?

So . . .the first draft of ‘Clash of the Animal Kings (Mach II)’ is complete after 18 days of writing for NaNoWriMo in numerous repetitions of 15 minute sprints.
I’m thrilled to bits and so happy I’ve been able to do this. It bodes well for the rest of the plans I have and makes me super keen to see what else I’m capable of.

Oooo, yeeeeah. ^_^

Now I just need to decide what I plan to do with the remaining 12 days of NaNo.
Hmm.
I do seem to recall being really excited about ‘Dead And Alive, Season Two’ not that long ago . . .

The finish line is in sight! ^_^

I can see it now and I consider the next couple of days to be the home stretch. I’m away for good chunks of the weekend, so it would be nice to know that I’ve completed the novel before I go. That would allow me to relax and enjoy the time away.

Today I’ve crested the hill of the big ‘final battle’ and I’m now into the clean up. The nature of this third act means that there’s very little left to go and once loose ends are tied up, I can call it a day.

Not sure what I’ll do after that, as there’s much more of NaNo left to go. Hmm.

Maybe it will be time for Raven to get a couple more of her Smexxy Snippets done? Who knows.
