80 Post Challenge – Post 57

What’s on your calendar for tomorrow?

ABSOLUTELY CRAP ALL!

generic calendar with mountains from OpenClipArtI’m so happy I could just burst! I mean, part of me doesn’t want to squander the days I have, but the rest of me is so RELIEVED to finally have some time to chill. I mean to just sit still and stare into space, or read a book, or watch some DVDs, or write for this blog. Its incredible to be able to do that and no have to worry about how late I go to sleep or if I’m any state to deal with ratty customer’s the following day.

This is my second day into maternity leave and it has been busy. I had an appointment at the hospital yesterday where some of my birth plan ideas were dashed by simple logic and forward planning. It makes sense, but I’m not best happy to be willingly leaning towards a caesarian. Meh… I’ll live.

Today I’ll be popping off for my first antenatal class after a visit from a friend that I’m really looking forward too. Just a quick hour or two this morning, but it will be really nice.

But tomorrow? Not a damn thing, and that’s just the way I like it. I suppose I should have spent more time today writing. I know I should have on Monday, but with explicit orders from everyone to ‘take it easy’ I just can’t make myself feel guilty. Nor should I, I suppose. I’ll have plenty to do in days to come, why not take advantage of the fact that there is very little to do right now?

So this was a very easy one to answer; nothing!

I’ll make a point of doing some writing for The Ice Wolf Tavern since I was in no state to do so last week. I hate falling behind on posts when people are waiting on me to play. Other than that, we’re all good to run and go, go, go! …and do very little.

Just the way I like it. ^_^

My 80 Post Challenge is brought to you with help from Tom Slatin’s 80 Journal Writing Prompts.

About Ileandra Young

I'm a thirty-*mumbles* year old (purple loving, cheese worshipping) author of fantasy, juggling a pair of beautiful twin boys with my burning desire to make up stories and write them all down. When I get the chance, I play games, listen to music, and in days long past I even ran a radio show. Though I occasionally write non-fiction, my heart lives in fantasy and my debut novel, Silk Over Razor Blades is now available through Amazon along with part two of the trilogy, Walking The Razor's Edge.

Good luck, Ileandra! I had a c-section last year. Don’t worry. It ain’t no walk in the park, but it’s not that bad. Either way, you’ll end up with two beautiful babies to show for it. So excited for you!

Trust me, I am LOVING this nothing-to-do-stuff, though the calendar is now starting to fill up with things I’d like to do in a manner that makes me wonder how I had time before. o.O

    Weird isn’t it?
