It’s been a week of major up and downs. Most of my ups are related to writing (so that’s good, right?) while my downs include a potentially torn Achilles tendon and an inability to walk without a limp. DSB is practically pulling her hair out as she can’t run at the moment. I know how she feels.
Still, it’s worth looking at what I have achieved. Focus on the positives, right?
Actions Over The Last Fortnight
~Work through a quarter of the ‘On A Knife Point’ deep edits, we’re talking about 22.5k words
Well . . . 22.5k would have been chapter ten. I’m now working on chapter 22 (o.O) and somewhere in the middle of that I’ve totally dumped four chapters and yet retained my wordcount of about 80k. Yikes. I’m pretty convinced that if I hadn’t had such a shitty weekend in terms of work, I would be on the home stretch. As it is, if I can maintain this rate for the next fortnight, I’ll be done before the month is out, even with the Sprogs on half term.
Rawr.
~Get Crossroads out of the way
Oops. Barely even looked at this. I’m 2k words in mostly because I’ve been so distracted by OAKP. Ho hum.
Activities This Fortnight (complete by 28/2/16)
- Complete deep edits on ‘On A Knife Point.’ Meh, why not?
- Switch Crossroads ‘deep edits’ into Scrivener and read

So . . . Resistance is out today and Crossroads is next on the list. After that’s done Saar’s Legacy will be nearly done too. Lots of endings coming up. Feels like the end of an era . . . o.O
What’s next? Well let’s see what comes.
